Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly lighter and brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is evidence of light wear and handling towards the edges. Visible only when examined upon extremely close inspection, there is a faint stretcher bar impression along the left edge. There is some light surface dirt in places which is likely to be original. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
