Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.
Condition:
This work is in very good and original condition. Very close inspection reveals some light dust fibres in some of the recesses and a few minute and stable hairline cracks to the papier-mâché in places, which is characteristic of the artist's choice of medium. Further very close inspection reveals some light burnishing to some of the crests papier-mâché and an associated tiny speck of loss to the overturn edge. All other surface irregularities are inherent to the artist's intention and/or use of found medium.
