Grand in-8, maroquin violet à long grain, bordure formée d’un filet doré et d’une roulette à froid, plaque dorée à motifs de rinceaux avec médaillon ovale en réserve, dos orné en long d’un décor à répétition, roulette intérieure, gardes de papier blanc moiré, tranches dorées, étui moderne (Thouvenin).
Titre gravé orné d’une vignette, 4 figures hors texte d’après Desenne et une carte dépliante.
