- LES CONTES DES FÉES. Paris, Lecou, 1851. In-8, demi-maroquin bleu canard à long grain avec coins, dos orné de fers spéciaux, non rogné, couverture (G. Mercier sr de son père 1922).
Jolie édition, illustrée d’un portrait de Charles Perrault gravé par Lacoste d’après Gigoux, de 10 lithographies en deux teintes par Bataille et 150 vignettes gravées sur bois dans le texte d’après Tony Johannot, Achille Devéria, Napoléon Thomas, Célestin Nanteuil, etc.

Parmi les fers spéciaux au dos de la reliure se trouvent ceux du Petit Poucet et du Chat botté, fréquemment utilisés par Mercier.
De la bibliothèque de Paul Villeboeuf (1963, n°267), cité par Carteret, avec son monogramme doré et son ex-libris.
