Première édition collective française, en partie originale. Le tome III renferme le fac-similé d’une lettre autographe de Richelieu.
Elle comprend deux préfaces nouvelles et une pièce inédite, adaptée d’une comédie de Shakespeare : Le Marchand de Venise. Dolorida s’y trouve dans une version remaniée.
Bel exemplaire en reliure uniforme de bonne qualité, condition rare.
Cachet à l’encre rouge, non identifié, sur une garde de chacun des volumes : BDF couronné.
Décharge d’un feuillet volant au verso du faux-titre et sur le titre du tome VII. Légère décoloration à un caisson au dos du tome V.
