Following a beginning in the geometrical abstract art, since the beginning of the Seventies her research ends up with the series of Diptychs made of two canvases put near each other, one fully painted and the other left rough, that express all the infinite expressive potentiality of painting. Initially she started with graphite and then she moved on with primary colours. At the end of the Seventies, on the coloured part of the diptychs, the artist starts to highlight signs of light, vibrations that become more and more sharp and thick. In the last diptychs of the Seventies, when she travels often between Italy and United states, polychromy pervade the painted part, first with primary colours, then with metallic paints. (...) In 1973 exhibits at the Quadriennale di Roma and in 1977 is invited at Documenta 6 and Kassel. Even though she refuses any labels and doesn't identify herself with any movement, in the seventies takes part to the main shows on Pittura analitica and Nuova Pittura (...)
