Condition

Overall very good original condition with the exception of several very minor/small/shallow surface nibbles to the top rim, however in our opinion these do not adversely affect the overall attractive appearance of the bowl. The color reproduction in the catalogue is not accurate. In reality the purple areas are a deep eggplant purple. When viewed from the top, the bowl is not a perfectly symmetrical circle, it undulates very slightly. The internal merletto patterning is very successful, with a strong and bold intensity of threading.
