Condition

Oil on canvas, unlined. The canvas has relaxed on the stretcher. The surface is in generally good condition aside from minor stretcher bar marks. There is a minor bump to the canvas with accompanying abrasion and loss in the far left of the subject's skirt-tail. There is a piece of duck tape adhered to the verso of the canvas in the lower right corner near the right edge. Under UV light, there are some very minor lines of inpainting visible to address the stretcher bar marks and one spot in the sitter's clothing, but otherwise in overall good condition.
