Oil on canvas, lined. The surface is fresh and bright if slightly flattened. Very fine, almost imperceptible, web of craquelure. A few very minor scattered abrasions at the extreme edges. Under UV light, the varnish floresces green and obscures part of the canvas. Scattered dashes of inpainting, probably to address crackleure, are visible in the central background. There are also dots of inpaiting scattered over the surface, though the majority of these are in the male figure; around the head of the standing female at right; and in the dress of the seated figure at left. In overall good condition and ready to hang.
