The following condition report has been provided by Simon Parkes of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc. 502 East 74th St. New York, NY 212-734-3920, simonparkes@msn.com, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's. Although the condition of this work is extremely good in some ways, the canvas requires lining in order to eliminate the raised cracking that is very evident throughout the work. There do not seem to be any losses or retouches. If the picture were lined, it would be presented very well.
