Oil on canvas, lined. The picture surface is in generally good condition with clean, bright colors. There are some small passages of craquelure, especially in the standing figures at far left. Under UV light there are small scattered spots of inpainting visible in the sand, especially the right side of the work. Additional potentially older inpaints visible scattered in the sky. In overall good condition and ready to hang.
