Oil on canvas with an old lining. Picture surface is in generally good condition aside from minor scattered craquelure. Under UV light, there is visible inpainting scattered at all four edges. There is strengthening to the darks around the sitter's hands and a few older, scattered inpaints in her fingers, especially the proper left index finger. Small scattered spots of inpainting in the cloak around her face.
