Oil on canvas, lined. Minor frame abrasions at the extreme edges. Flattened, stable web of craquelure over the entire work. There is some thinness in areas, especially the upper right sky where the ground is somewhat exposed. Under UV light, there are areas of inpaint along the right edge; scattered in the sky; strengthening the darks; and scatters in the lower left corner. There appears to be a repaired damage 3 inches long in the background between the putti bearing a basket of flowers and the left edge. Craquelure has been addressed in the background above the angel's wings; in the Virgin's robes; and in St Anne's robes.
