There purchased by the present owner.

Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. Each work has a minor, stable web of craquelure and has been slightly flattened by the lining. The picture surfaces are bright and clean. It is possible that the red tinge of the background is related to the ground coming through the pigment. Under UV light, the green fluorescing varnish obscures the majority of the work, though there are occasional dashes of inpaint to address craquelure; areas of strengthening to the flowers and the background; and small areas of inpaint near the edges that are visible over the varnish.
