Condition
Oil on canvas, lined. A very fine web of craquelure over the surface, with some areas of very minor texture. Remnants of stretcher bar marks. The picture surface is bright and fresh and in overall good condition. Under UV light, the varnish obscures the majority of the work. The upper right quadrant appears to have been slightly cleaned at some time as some areas of in paint are visible along the extreme edges and in the clouds.
