Condition

The work is in a painted circle; the current frame is painted and presents the work as circular. A vertical join in panel with some paint loss in the left half. This surface has fine craquelure and is slightly thin in the lighter areas. Under UV light: very fine touch-ups to Christ's legs; some older inpainting possibly on the figure at lower left.
