The complete portfolio, comprising 38 engravings, en- and hors-texte, with text by Prosper Mérimée, 1949, signed in pencil on the justification, numbered F, one of 20 collaborator's copies, from the total edition of 320, loose (as issued), on Montval wove paper, with title and text, published by La Bibliothèque Française, Paris, contained in the original paper wrappers, paper-covered boards and slipcase
Condition
The full sheets, in good condition apart from infrequent pale fox marks on most sheets, scattered tiny foxing to the paper wrappers, very minor wear to the boards, the slipcase worn at the edges with a few spots of skinning, the top panel separating at the opening.
