The rare complete set, of 25 lithographs printed in colours, 1960, each signed in pencil, numbered 21/50, on Arches wove paper, published by Verve, Paris

Condition

Mostly with full margins (four sheets fractionally reduced), generally in good condition apart from occasional paper discoloration, occasional light handling creases, traces of stray ink in the margins of some sheets with offsetting verso, some sheets with tape at edges verso with associated areas of paper skinning. Other imperfections to individual sheets include: M. 230: with mount- and backboard-staining. (A pencil inscription, '109089' in lower margin recto) M. 233: the colours attenuated, mount- and backboard-staining M. 234: with light- and backboard-staining M. 238: the sheet possibly fractionally trimmed at left edge (sheet measures 525 by 382mm) M. 240: with a couple of mottled fox marks in the left margin M. 243: with a couple of small fox marks verso M. 244: a fox mark in the left margin M. 245: the sheet fractionally trimmed (sheet measures 523 by 378mm) M. 247: with light- and backboard-staining M. 248: the sheet fractionally trimmed at left edge, one mottled fox mark verso (sheet measures 523 by 380mm) M. 251: the colours attenuated, mount- and backboard-staining M. 252: the blue and violet slightly attenuated, mount- and backboard-staining, a few tiny fox marks at extreme lower edge of sheet M. 253: the sheet fractionally trimmed at the right edge, pale light-staining, backboard-staining (sheet measures 523 by 381mm)
