Etching and drypoint, circa 1641, the only state, New Hollstein's third state (of four), a very good impression printing with touches of burr in the lower left corner and elsewhere, the fine lines still printing clearly, framed

Condition

With thread margins, in good condition except that the sheet edges are glued to the backing board (verso unexamined), a minor and unobtrusive repaired tear just to the right of the centre of the image with traces of touching-in and associated pale staining, pale discoloration towards the lower edge of the subject, a few pale fox marks, framed.
