"Otro de mis temas es el bosque. Cuando entro en estado de meditaciones como si estuviera en una selva o en un bosque. Mi mente pasa por un estado de euforia, como una selva exuberante en la que puedo encontrar todo tipo de emociones y sentimientos. Cuando comienzo a sentir que hay un punto interno de conciencia, todo se mueve hacia ese espacio interno, ese río interno. Todo va hacia ese lugar de quietud, ese reino de tranquilidad dentro del bosque donde hay un lago. Hice varios cuadros que titulé Laguna escondida que representan la trayectoria de la conciencia externa hacia la interior. El lago o la laguna representan el estado de meditación. En el hinduismo y en el yoga a menudo se compara la mente con un lago. No podemos ver el fondo porque las aguas están agitadas. Pero en cuanto se han aquietado el lago se vuelve transparente, perfecto. Si la mente está en reposo el mundo es percibido como uno. Estas ideas están muy presentes en mi obra."
