Edition illustrée avec une finesse remarquable. Premier tirage du frontispice par Dunker, gravé par Eichler, répété à chaque volume, et des 73 figures par Freudeberg, gravées par Guttemberg, Halbou, Henriquez, Launay jeune, Longueil, Leroy, Mme Duflos et Thiébault, 72 vignettes et 72 culs-de-lampe par Dunker, gravés par lui-même, Eichler, Pillet et Richter (Cohen 680).
Bel exemplaire en reliure d'époque de maroquin vert, attribuable à Derome.
