Condition

Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 16-18 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The shade leading is beautifully executed with thin fine lines, displaying a rich russet brown and green patina. The patinated bronze surfaces of the base display an exceptionally rich and vibrant layered russet brown and green patina. The patinated bronze surfaces with some occasional light surface scratches, abrasions and light rubbing consistent with age and gentle use. All of the sockets and paddle switches appear original and undisturbed. With a period finial that displays a closely corresponding patina to the base. The finial with one very small and shallow surface bruise to the outer perimeter contour. A few of the shade arms appear to be slightly bent askew, but all are fully functional and this is not visible when the shade is in place. When viewed in person, the shade is slightly less red than seen in the catalogue illustrations. The bottom two geometric rows are articulated in yellow-orange glass over a bottom row of amethyst purple glass striated with green accents. A fine example of the model displaying an artistic glass selection and strong visual movement. Please note the shade marking is TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1512-12.
