Condition
The canvas is unlined. The surface is in generally good condition aside from a dirty varnish that has yellowed and darkened over time. There is a repair to canvas of approximately 1 square inch in the center left and an area of repaint in the sky in the upper right from ma possible tear. These two repairs have repaint that is visible under bright light. Upon close inspection black dots are ground are showing through the grass in the lower 2 1/2 inches of the painting. Under UV; inpainting is visible in the center left side to address the canvas repair and in the upper right side in the sky. Removal of the old varnish and turned repaint is recommended.
