Condition

The canvas is unlined and the stretcher bars are slightly visible on the reverse. The surface is in fair condition, there is a small 1/4 inch hole in the figure's head in the upper center with associated paint loss. There are 4 small old repairs in the sky above the figure's head, in her shoulder on the right side and 2 in the upper left corner. There are 2 thin scrapes of approximately 1/2 inch in the lower left side. Under UV; heavy masking varnish, inpainting visible at the 4 repairs, in the figure's eyes and scattered around her face, and in the area to the right and above the figure's head.
