Condition
The canvas is unlined. The surface is in overall good condition apart from being slightly dirty and may lighten from a light cleaning. There is fine pigment seperation in the sky and a small fine scrape in center right above the fire. There are small abrasions to the pigment at the edges with associated losses and scattered areas of craquelure. There is a 1 inch raised vertical crease at the center left of the picture. There are scattered pinpoint accretions in the upper right quadrant. Under UV; no apparent inpainting.
