Condition

The canvas is lined. The surface is in generally good condition aside from being slightly flattened from the lining. The painting appears to have been slightly over-cleaned and the old entrenched varnish has darkened and yellowed slightly over time. Brown ground is showing through somewhat in the blue sky. Under UV; there is minor scattered inpainting throughout the entire sky.
