Condition
The canvas has been lined. The surface is in generally good condition aside that it appears somewhat uneven possibly from old paint loss or lifting and has been slightly flattened from lining and abraded from cleaning. There is craquelure and light paint separation throughout. The stretcher bars are slightly visible on all 4 sides. UNDER UV: the sky has about 35 % dots of repaint and the horse has repaint throughout. There are possibly older generations of repaint that do not fluoresce under the light.
