Condition
A Harlequin Courting a Woman: Laid down on an 18/19th Century mount inscribed in pen and brown ink: Lancret . In good condition aside from evidence of foxing throughout the sheet and some small light brown stains. There is a black mark to the centre of the sheet (possibly black chalk) and another that breaks through the framing line to the upper right edge.
Crispin Courting a Lady: Laid down on an 18/19th Century mount inscribed in pen and brown ink: Lancret. In good condition aside from evidence of foxing throughout the sheet and some small brown stains and surface dirt. There is what appears to be an old crease to the lower right corner of the sheet.
