  • inscribed in pen and brown ink: Rosa del imeavit(?) Rome in campo vagino (lower left); indistinctly stamped with an unidentified collector's mark (lower right)
  • point of the brush and brown wash over black chalk
  • 7 1/4 by 9 1/2 in.; 18.5 by 24.3 cm.

Condition

Laid down on an old, possibly 18th century, mount, inscribed: BOS . There is some foxing, staining and surface dirt throughout and the remains of an old water stain in the upper left quarter. There is a small red stain in the upper right corner and a small tear to the edge of the sheet on the lower right margin.
