- pen and brown ink and wash over black chalk, within brown ink and black chalk framing lines, on two sheets joined together
- 10 5/8 by 18 1/4 in.; 27.1 by 46.4 cm.
Condition
Window mounted and laid down on card. There is evidence of foxing throughout the sheet and two paper defects to the left edge. There is an old pin prick hole to the upper left corner and signs of surface dirt throughout. The sheet itself has been made up by the artist to the right edge, resulting in a horizontal joining line, approximately 47mm, from the right edge. Otherwise in good condition; the medium is still fresh and vibrant. Sold in a modern, carved and gilded French style frame.
