The canvas is unlined. The surface is in generally good condition aside for craquelure, slight frame abrasion and possible losses at left edge near center and bottom edge near center. Inspection under UV reveals old retouches along the edges and in all 4 corners, minor pinpoint retouches in the clothing of the figures.
