Condition
The canvas is unlined. The surface is in generally good condition aside from some fine craquelure throughout and a dirty varnish that has darkened over time. There are some small accretions in the upper ride side and upper center and a thin surface scratch of approximately 2 inches on the cow's head in the lower left corner. Some repaint is visible in the sky in the upper left side. Under UV; are of broad repaint in the lower right corner, in the sky in the center right side and upper left side, above the cow to the left and in the body of the standing horse.
