Condition
The canvas has an old lining. The surface is in generally good condition aside from fine pressed craquelure throughout the surface of the painting and scattered pinpoint losses. The varnish appears to have darkened over time and is rather dirty. Inspection under UV reveals minor scattered retouches under an old masking varnish.
