Condition

The panel is cradled and stable. There is a thin vertical line running from the left to the right 2 1/2 inches from the top. The surface is in fair condition; it is very thinly painted, the background appears abraded and has suffered significant paint loss; apparent craquelure of the figure's face; old dirty and dry varnish. Inspection under UV reveals scattered retouches throughout.
