Condition

The canvas is lined. The surface of the work is in overall good condition. There is some pressed craquelure. There is a repaired tear in the upper center and in the lower right. Under UV; scattered areas of broadly painted retouches throughout, most notably in the head and arm of the figure standing on the right, in the clothing of the seated woman and in the area to the right of the right of the figure standing on the left. Areas of thin inpainting to address paint separation are evident in the seated woman's face and arms.
