Condition
The canvas is has a wax lining. Surface in generally good condition aside from fine pressed craquelure throughout; scattered pinpoint losses lower left corner and upper right edge. Surface slightly dirty with dust particles. Inspection under UV reveals selectively applied varnish in the black area around the flowers, some broad inpainting around the edges of the flower and a 1 by 2 1/2 inch retouch in the center in the background just above the flowers, possibly a repair.
