Condition

The canvas is lined. Surface in generally good condition aside from occasional frame abrasion to the varnish along the edges; surface somewhat thin and pressed; paint loss below the chin of the seated woman; a thick varnish. Under UV; thick masking varnish; probable old repaints to arms and faces of all figures; probable repaints at edges addressing frame abrasion and one spot repaint middle right behind woman's back.
