Condition

The stable support consists of a single panel back by a piece of second wooden panel. The painted surface is secure although rather worn as is the gold ground. Scattered old discoloured retouchings are visible to the naked eye and these are confirmed under UV light. The mouldings of the engaged frame are well preserved although the gilt is very worn.
