- A YELLOW GOLD SKELETONIZED QUARTER REPEATING OPEN-FACED JACQUEMARTS WATCH WITH AUTOMATONCIRCA 1850
- diameter 55 mm
• gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, plain three arm balance • gilt cuvette • white enamel dial, Breguet numerals, three color gold jacquemarts realistically striking bells in unison to the repeating mechanism • engine-turned pink gold and band, the quarter repeating mechanism activated through the pendant, strike/silent pusher at 11 o'clock
Condition
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it might benefit from a service soon. Dust to the dial. Case with scuffs from wear. overall the watch is a nice condition, engraved work in nice condition with some corrosion to the bottom right. Repeating mechanism is working and repeat the correct time. Some restoration made to the bow.
