This spectacular selection of over 400 lots includes five Patek Philippe minute repeating wristwatches, highlighted by the company’s most complicated wristwatch, the Sky Moon Tourbillon Ref. 5002. Offered in platinum this is the first example to appear at auction made with a Patek Philippe quality seal and one of the very last manufactured. The final lot of the sale is a very rare semi-skeletonized minute repeating retrograde perpetual calendar reference 5104, the first unworn example to appear at auction. Also included is a pink gold version of the famous Patek Philippe Ref. 5013, a tonneau-cased self-winding minute repeating perpetual calendar and only the fifth to appear at auction in pink gold since the model’s introduction in 1992. Completing the selection is a yellow gold Ref. 5079 with Cathedral gongs and a Ref.5029, number 1, from the limited edition of only ten examples made in 1997. Complementing these are two highly innovative examples from the independent manufactures Greubel Forsey. Striving to achieve timekeeping perfection, the company developed a quadruple tourbillon to eliminate positional error. Also from Greubel Forsey we are proud to include number eight from an edition of eleven ‘Invention Piece One’ models, released in 2007 to celebrate the construction of the company’s double tourbillon. For those seeking more glamour and less complexity we offer a large collection of diamond watches including a Santos Triple 100. Made in 2009 as a limited edition of fifty, it has revolving louvers that allows the wearer to choose between a classic white dial, a hand-engraved dragon motif or simply expose the skeletonized movement.
