assis en dhyanasana sur une base lotiforme, les mains ramenées devant la poitrine esquissant un mudra, vêtu d'un fin dhoti formant d'harmonieux plis, le visage serein aux yeux en amande portant l'urna surmonté d'une haute coiffe facetée, auréolée d'une mandorle circulaire amovible, traces de dorure sur la peau de la divinité, base en bois sculpté ; restaurations (3)
Condition
Thus buddha is on a wood base and has not been removed from it as it is attached by 3 cast-on pegs. The halo is cast separately as are the two arms which are then joined at the shoulders. The gilding is worn, the piece is quite heavy. Otherwise the figure is in overall good condition.
