Condition

There areas of loss to the silk, particularly to the upper left hand corner, along the left and right side. There are also smaller areas of loss to scattered across the unpainted area of the painting (some of them visible as paler spots in the catalogue illustration). There is overall light wear and a ca. 4cm long scratch to the surface extending from the centre lower rim (visible in the catalogue illustration).
