Description
- porcelaine
Condition
The jardiniere must have suffered an impact leaving a ca. 1x1cm large circular filled-in area ca. 10 cm below the rim. Just above this area, a 17x10cm wide V-shaped piece has broken out of the rim and was reattached in the past. There is also an associated 6-pronged star crack issuing from the filled-in area with the two longest cracks extending 16 and 26 cm across the sides. There is some light overall scratching to the exterior. The underglaze blue is of a softer, richer tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
