Condition

This work is in excellent condition overall. There are pin holes at the corner from time of execution. Along the extreme edges, the paper appears to be have slightly darkened. This is primarily evident where the charcoal is less heavily applied. There is a very faint small brown liquid accretion located 6 1/8 – 6 ¼ in. from the left and 7 ¾ - 8 in. from the bottom. The paper sheet is framed in a black wood frame under glass and hinged at intervals to a ragboard matte and mount.
