Etching with drypoint and burin, 1648, a superb, fine, early impression of the fourth state (of five), printing with rich burr mainly on the landscape, the artist's right shoulder and the collar, with contrasts, on paper with part of a Strasbourg Lily watermark

Condition

Trimmed to or on the platemark at sides, just within at top, trimmed circa 4-5mm within the platemark below, a small repaired area in lower part of landscape, two very small fox marks in the blank space of window, thin areas along left edges of sheet verso, unframed.
