Movement and dial circa 1900: Dial has damage near winding hole and centre. Movement needs a clean; lever platform escapement.

Catalogue Note

Jean Romilly, horloger reçu maître à Paris en 1752

Ce modèle de pendule aurait été identifié comme celui figurant sur la cheminée  de la chambre du duc de Choiseul à travers la célèbre boîte de Van Blarenberghe.

Une pendule identique (ancienne collection Elisabeth Parke Firestone)a été vendue chez Christie's à New york ,le 23 mars 1991).
