Between 1939 and 1945, Prudence Heward's studio was located at 3467 Peel Street in Montreal. Despite her chronic ill health, she paints the comforts of her studio here with sensitivity, using bright harmonious colours, as though re-creating one of her landscapes in an interior setting.
