Lithograph printed in black and blue-grey, 1948, Mourlot's ninth state (of eleven), initialled in pencil by Fernand Mourlot, inscribed with his reference 134, avec un gris and numbered 6/6 verso, one of six proofs reserved for the artist and the printer (this subject was published in an edition of 50 which did not include the additional background colour), on Arches wove paper
Condition
The full sheet with a deckle at the left and right edge, in very good condition, the background colour fresh, uneven paper discoloration to the upper and lower margins, occasional pale fox marks to the margins, uneven backboard-staining, unframed.
