Catalogue Note
Les célèbres facteurs londonniens Longman & Broderip ayant fait faillite en 1795, le pianiste Muzio Clementi abandonne sa carrière de concertiste pour relancer la société sous le nom de "Longman, Clementi & Company". Les premiers instruments signés de la nouvelle manufacture datent de 1798. Notre harpe est donc très probablement réalisée entre 1798 et 1801, date à laquelle la firme est rebaptisée Muzio Clementi & Company.
