Bien que non daté, il faut rapprocher ce seau à bouteille du service à fond vert offert par Louis XV au Roi Frédéric V du Danemark par l'intermédiaire du Ministre des Affaires étrangère, l'abbé comte de Bernis et du marchand-mercier Lazare Duvaux, dans le second semestre de l'année 1757. six seaux à bouteilles figuraient dans le service et quatre sont aujourd'hui conservés au musée de l'Ermitage à Saint-Pétersbourg (Nina Birioukova, La porcelaine de Sèvres de XVIIIème siècle, catalogue de la collection du musée de l'Ermitage, 2005, n° 45-48, p. 118 et David Peters, Sèvres Plates and Services of the 18th Century, 2005, Vol. II, n° 57-2, pp 295-298.
